“Choices: A Rock Opera” tells the story of an ultra-driven lead singer from a 1980’s spandex wearing, "big hair" rock band named “Choices.” Though his intense focus has garnered the band much success, it has also left the singer cocooned, emotionally underdeveloped, and void of any real experiences beyond the stage. When he meets an intriguing woman who introduces him to the vast world beyond what he’s ever known, he comes to the realization that he has a monumental choice to make. Should he leave the only life he's ever known to pursue a life with this new woman? Encouraged by his carousing bandmates and a mysterious character who professes to be the key-holder to super-stardom, it seems that the singer at first chooses that path, only to quickly do an about face and forego a life of rock and roll debauchery for that of domestic bliss. The choice he makes soon does not pan out the way he intends, and his life begins to crumble. Conversations with friends and fans present the moral center of the story - that not all choices work out the way you plan, but that doesn’t make them remorseful choices.
